The Montreal Alouettes will be without the CFL’s leading receiver when they face the Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday.

Austin Mack (thigh) has been added to the one-game injured list. The 26-year-old has had a sensational first season in the CFL, catching 70 passes for a league-leading 1,057 yards and four touchdowns.

Canadian receiver Jake Harty will assume Mack’s spot in the starting lineup, while rookie Shedler Fervius draws into the lineup.

The team has also lost returner Chandler Worthy (ankle) to the six-game injured list. The 30-year-old speedster has returned 48 kickoffs for 1,136 yards (23.67 avg.) and 51 punts for 514 yards (10.08 avg.) and a touchdown. Rookie James Letcher Jr. will assume that role, while also backing up at receiver.

Also headed to the six-game injured list is cornerback Kordell Rodgers (foot), who has collected 37 defensive tackles and two interceptions in 12 games as a rookie. Fellow rookie Kabion Ento, who collected 38 tackles and two interceptions in 11 starts, will dress in his place, with Dishon McNary drawing in as a backup.

Canadian defensive tackle Vincent Desjardins is a healthy scratch, while American defensive end T.D. Moultry will dress for the first time. 2023 first-round pick Lwal Uguak has taken over the starting defensive end spot from Jamal Davis II, who was released at his own request earlier this week.

The Alouettes (7-7) will visit the Redblacks (4-10) on Saturday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m. EDT. Montreal has won each of the previous two meetings between these teams and can clinch a playoff spot with a victory.
