The Edmonton Elks have added American defensive end Calvin Bundage to their roster.
The six-foot-two, 220-pound pass rusher spent five years at Oklahoma State University (2016-20), missing the 2019 season with injury. In 46 career games, he recorded 148 total tackles, 11.5 sacks, and one pass knockdown, earning honorable mention All-Big 12 selections from the coaches in 2018 and 2020.
The 25-year-old went unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft before joining the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent. He later spent training camp with the B.C. Lions in 2022 but was released prior to the season. Bundage suited up for the Indoor Football League’s Massachusetts Pirates in 2023, recording 33 total tackles and one interception in four games.
In a corresponding move, Edmonton released American defensive back Antonio Mitchell from their practice roster.
The Elks (2-10) will host the Calgary Stampeders (4-8) on Saturday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
