Edmonton Elks’ quarterback Tre Ford has been named the CFL’s top performer for Week 11 by Pro Football Focus (PFF).
The Canadian passer completed 13-of-18 pass attempts for 174 yards and two touchdowns in Edmonton’s victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and also ran the ball five times for 60 yards. He earned an individual grade of 91.7 and finished the game with a quarterback efficiency rating of 139.6.
Montreal Alouettes’ linebacker Tyrell Richards was the highest-graded defensive performer of the week after recording two tackles and one forced fumble in the team’s 25-24 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks. He played 32 total defensive snaps and earned a grade of 78.8 on run defence snaps and 90.2 on pass rush snaps.
The Edmonton Elks had the highest-graded offensive line of the week following the team’s 24-10 win over the Ticats, earning a group grade of 79.7. Right guard Tomas Jack-Kurdyla was the highest-graded individual performer at 81.2, followed by right tackle Brett Boyko (77.2) and centre Mark Korte (64.3).
The CFL partnered with PFF for the first time ahead of the 2023 season. The American company uses game footage to review every player on the field and grades their individual performances on a scale from zero to 100.
The league unveils the top-graded players from PFF each week. Offensive and defensive players must play a minimum of 25 snaps to be eligible and special teams players must play at least 10. Ties are broken by the number of snaps played.
