The Toronto Argonauts have opened as 10.5-point favourites over the Saskatchewan Roughriders in this year’s edition of Touchdown Atlantic.

The Boatmen are the CFL’s only remaining undefeated team and are coming off a 31-15 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The club is averaging 37.2 points per game on the season, which is by far the most of any team in the league.

Meanwhile, the Riders are coming off a 19-9 loss to the B.C. Lions that saw Mason Fine make his first start of the season in place of an injured Trevor Harris. The third-year quarterback completed 31-of-40 pass attempts for 278 yards and two interceptions, both of which came in the fourth quarter.

The two teams met at Raymond Field in Wolfville, N.S. last season with the Argos coming away with a 30-24 victory. There have been six previous iterations of the neutral site game with the first having taken place during the preseason in 2005. This year’s contest will mark the first to take place in Halifax since the inaugural event.

3DownNation reporters Justin Dunk and John Hodge will be on-site for the game, so stay tuned for all the latest from the Maritimes.

The Riders (3-3) are scheduled to visit the Argos (5-0) in Halifax, N.S. on Saturday, July 29 with kickoff slated for 5:00 p.m. EDT.
