The Calgary Stampeders have ruled out star receiver Reggie Begelton for Saturday’s game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders due to a rib injury.
The 29-year-old has caught 14 passes for 182 yards through two games this season and currently sits second league-wide in receiving yards.
Begelton has recorded 257 catches for 3,508 yards and 19 touchdowns over 55 career CFL games since joining the Stampeders in 2017.
Canadian defensive back Shaquille St-Lot (hamstring) will also miss Saturday’s game, while strong-side linebacker Titus Wall (hamstring) has been listed as questionable.
Calgary (1-1) is scheduled to host the Riders (1-1) on Saturday, June 24 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
