The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American receiver Tavaris Harrison, American defensive end Celestin Haba, and American defensive back Karon Delince.

Harrison spent most of the 2022 season on Winnipeg’s practice roster, though he dressed for five games without recording any statistics. The six-foot-three, 190-pound target caught 80 passes for 1,279 yards and three touchdowns over four seasons at Florida Atlantic University. He was released by the team last week.

Haba played his final two collegiate seasons at Texas A&M University-Commerce where he made 39 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception, and two pass knockdowns over 16 career games. The six-foot-two, 250-pound defender previously played at Scottsdale Community College and Western Kentucky University.

Delince joined the team at the end of the 2022 season following a standout career at East Tennessee State. The five-foot-nine, 160-pound cornerback made 170 tackles, 26 pass breakups, and two interceptions during his tenure with the Buccaneers. He was released by the team in mid-May.

The Blue Bombers have also placed Canadian offensive lineman Tui Eli on the one-game injured list and Canadian fullback Konner Burtenshaw on the six-game injured list.

Eli returned to Winnipeg on a three-year contract after sitting out the 2022 season. The 27-year-old has dressed for 19 career CFL games after being selected in the fourth round of the 2019 CFL Draft out of the University of Hawaii.

Burtenshaw was selected with the final pick in the 2022 CFL Draft out of Queen’s University. He dressed for 10 games last season and recorded three special teams tackles and one kickoff return for 15 yards.

Winnipeg also released American receiver Tre Turner.
