The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American wide receiver Isaiah McKoy and American offensive lineman Adonis Boone.

Boone played 26 games at Kent State from 2018 to 2020 and recorded 124 receptions for 1,748 yards and 16 touchdowns. He finished his career ranked second in school history in touchdown receptions, fifth in receiving yards, and sixth in receptions.

The native of Brooklyn, N.Y. was named first-team All-MAC in 2020 after recording 25 receptions for 455 yards and five touchdowns in a pandemic-shortened four-game season. In 2019, he was named third-team All-MAC as he led the Golden Flashes in receptions (56), receiving yards (872), and receiving touchdowns (eight).

The six-foot-two, 200-pound target signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers after going unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft but did not make the final roster. He also spent time on the practice roster with the Indianapolis Colts.

Boone played five seasons at the University of Louisville from 2018 to 2022 and saw action in 47 games at right guard and left tackle. Over his final two seasons, he played 22 games and only allowed one sack in 873 snaps. This past season, the Cardinals averaged 201 rushing yards per game, which ranked second in the ACC.

The six-foot-five, 303-pound defender attended rookie minicamp with the New Orleans Saints after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Saskatchewan has also placed Canadian defensive back Godfrey Onyeka on the injured list and released American defensive back Kendarius Webster.
