The Calgary Stampeders have signed their first-round Global draft pick, offensive lineman Isaac Moore.
The native of Orebro, Sweden was selected with the sixth overall pick in the 2023 CFL Global Draft after an illustrious career at Temple University that saw him appear in a school-record 57 consecutive games for the Owls. A five-year starter at left tackle, Moore was part of a unit that allowed just 10 sacks in 12 games last season in the American Athletic Conference.
The six-foot-seven, 300-pound blocker went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft but attended rookie mini-camps with the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks before signing north of the border. He was previously taken in the third round of the 2023 USFL Draft by the Philadelphia Stars, but elected to come to the CFL instead.
