Toronto Argonauts sign American defensive lineman Tyler Williams

The Toronto Argonauts have signed American defensive lineman Tyler Williams.

The six-foot-two, 295-pound defender played five seasons at Wake Forest (2018-22) where he made 65 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and five sacks over 44 games.

The Argos have also released American defensive lineman Dom Peterson.

The six-foot, 299-pound defender made 185 tackles, 55.5 tackles for loss, 28 sacks, and six forced fumbles over five seasons at the University of Nevada. He was a four-time All-Mountain West honouree.
