The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American receiver Isaiah McKoy.
The six-foot-two, 200-pound pass catcher signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent after the 2021 NFL Draft, dressing in two preseason games and would late join the practice roster of the Indianapolis Colts.
The Brooklyn, New York native played 26 games over three collegiate seasons (2018-2020) with Kent State University, recording 124 receptions for 1,748 yards and 16 touchdowns. He finished his Golden Flashes career ranked second in school history in touchdown receptions, fifth in receiving yards and sixth in receptions.
The 23-year-old earned first-team All-Mid Atlantic Conference (MAC) honours in 2020 after recording 25 receptions for 455 yards and five touchdowns in the pandemic-shortened four-game season. In 2019, McKoy was named third-team All-MAC in a year he led the Golden Flashes in all three major receiving categories with 56 receptions for 872 yards and eight receiving touchdowns as well as leading the conference in average years per reception at 15.6.
