The Toronto Argonauts have signed American receiver Changa Hodge.
The East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania native spent two seasons at Virginia Tech University where hauled in three passes for 25 yards in 14 games.
Prior to his time with the Hokies, the 24-year-old played four seasons at Villanova University where he caught 99 passes for 1,685 yards and 15 touchdowns in 31 games for the Wildcats.
Hodge’s best collegiate season came in 2019 with the Wildcats when he caught 65 passes for 1,118 yards and 13 touchdowns in 13 games that season.
The six-foot-one, 205-pound pass catcher spent time with the Calgary Stampeders last season after having a brief stint in the National Football League with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Toronto Argonauts are currently hosting their three-day rookie camp at Alumni Stadium at the University of Guelph and will begin training camp at the same location on Sunday.
