The B.C. Lions have signed Canadian defensive back Siriman Bagayogo and Global receiver Jevoni Robinson.
Bagayogo was selected in the second round of the 2023 CFL Draft out of the University of Guelph. The native of Bois-des-Filion, Que. played 22 games with the Gryphons, recording 40 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass knockdowns. He was a two-time first-team U Sports All-Canadian and two-time OUA all-star.
The six-foot-one, 192-pound defender participated in rookie minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs last week but did not sign a contract with the team.
Robinson was selected with the seventh overall pick in the 2023 CFL Global Draft. The six-foot-eight, 225-pound target played basketball professionally in Italy before turning his attention to football. He has since been a member of the Houston Texans, San Antonio Commanders (AAF), and St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL).
