The B.C. Lions have signed American offensive lineman Syrus Tuitele and American defensive back Colby Williams.
Tuitele went unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft but signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. He was released near the end of training camp with the team and joined the USFL’s Michigan Panthers the following year. He played three games with the Panthers in 2022.
The six-foot-six, 318-pound blocker played 35 games at Fresno State from 2017 to 2020 primarily at right tackle, playing opposite potential first overall 2023 CFL Draft pick Dontae Bull.
Williams spent the past three years at Utah Tech where he recorded 50 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 17 pass knockdowns, and one interception over 21 games.
