Calgary Stampeders sign American OL Jakari Robinson

The Calgary Stampeders have signed American offensive lineman Jakari Robinson.

The six-foot-one, 310-pound blocker split his collegiate career over five seasons at Memphis, Cincinnati, and Bowling Green. He played 10 games for the Falcons this past year, making nine starts at centre.

Robinson played 29 games over three seasons with the Bearcats, making 24 starts at centre. He also dressed for seven games over his one season at Memphis.

The native of Talladega, Ala. will be in rookie camp with the Stampeders when it begins on May 10.

CFL teams are slated to open training camp on May 14 with rosters of 85 players excluding non-counters. The Stampeders will play their first preseason game against the Edmonton Elks on Monday, May 22 at 4 p.m. EDT at McMahon Stadium.
