The schedule for the 2023 Football Canada Cup (FCC) in Edmonton has officially been unveiled.
The U18 event will feature eight provincial teams from Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec, Ontario, B.C., Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. Saskatchewan won last year’s event in Kelowna with a 13-1 victory over Alberta in the gold medal game. Quebec won bronze after defeating Ontario by a score of 26-17.
The schedule for the event has been finalized, though the matchups in the second and third rounds of the tournament won’t be determined until the first round is complete. The seeding of the teams is shown below.

The Football Canada Cup was established in 1995 and has since been held across the country. It has served as a springboard for athletes who have gone on to pursue careers at the U SPORTS, NCAA, national team, and professional levels.
According to Football Canada, the objective of the event is to promote the game of football to Canada’s youth, encourage individuals to participate in football at a high level of competition, and to instill a lifelong commitment to fitness, fair-play, and fun through recreational and organized games of football.
