Edmonton Elks sign dual-threat Valdosta State QB Ivory Durham

The Edmonton Elks have signed dual-threat American quarterback Ivory Durham.

The five-foot-eleven, 204-pound passer completed 56.7 percent of his passes for 6,804 yards, 69 touchdowns, and 19 interceptions over four seasons at Valdosta State. He also carried the ball 298 times for 2,403 yards and 27 touchdowns over 50 career games with the Blazers.

The native of Jacksonville, Fla. was named second-team All-Gulf South Conference as a senior as he led his team to an appearance in the Division II National Championship Game.

The 22-year-old ranks tied for third in school history in passing touchdowns, fifth all-time in passing yards, sixth all-time in rushing touchdowns, seventh all-time in completions, and tenth all-time in rushing yards.

Edmonton’s other quarterbacks include incumbent starter Taylor Cornelius, first-round 2022 CFL Draft pick Tre Ford, Kai Locksley, Vincent Testaverde Jr., Felix Harper, and Canadian Mike Beaudry.

Valdosta State is located in southern Georgia.
