The B.C. Lions have launched a new ticket package designed to help fans from across the province support the team in 2023.

The club has a new six-game season ticket package for fans who live on Vancouver Island and the B.C. Interior, which includes all six of the club’s weekend 4:00 p.m. local time kickoffs. These contests are scheduled for June 17 vs. Edmonton, July 9 vs. Montreal, July 22 vs. Saskatchewan, August 12 vs. Calgary, August 26 vs. Hamilton, and September 16 vs. Ottawa.

“We’re thrilled to provide our fans from the Island and Interior with increased accessibility to our home games,” said team president Duane Vienneau in a statement.

“The response for similar bus and ticket packages for last year’s Western Semi-Final was amazing and it gave us the idea that our fans from different regions of British Columbia would welcome a regular season package. The Lions truly are the province’s team.”

The ticket packages starts at $170 for Island fans and $220 for Interior fans, though pricing is further reduced for youth guests. The packages include roundtrip bus transportation as Island fans will be picked up from Horseshoe Bay and Tsawwassen Ferry terminals and Interior fans will be picked up in Kamloops and Kelowna.

B.C. created a similar offer for last year’s West Semi-Final and it appears to have been a success judging by the team’s new regular season offering.

The club attracted 30,114 fans to BC Place Stadium for their 30-16 playoff win over the Calgary Stampeders in what was their first postseason victory since 2016.
