The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed American receiver Rasheed Bailey on a one-year contract.

The six-foot-one, 211-pound pass catcher returns for a fourth season in Winnipeg after becoming a free agent on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old started all 18 regular-season games for the Bombers, hauling in a career-high 63 passes for 729 yards and nine touchdowns. He made appearances in all 14 regular-season games in 2021, posting 52 receptions for 629 yards and five touchdowns. Bailey started both the West Final and Grey Cup in each of the last two seasons.

The Delaware Valley product made his CFL debut during the 2019 season, suiting up for five games that season. He finished with 19 receptions for 206 yards and added four more receptions for 26 yards in three playoff starts that November.

Prior to joining the Bombers, Bailey spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers. He briefly joined the B.C. Lions’ practice roster in 2015 before returning to the NFL.
