The B.C. Lions have signed Canadian receiver Justin McInnis, the team announced on Tuesday.
The six-foot-five, 210-pound target was a first-round pick in the 2019 CFL Draft out of Arkansas State University. He dressed for 33 games over three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, recording 48 catches for 596 yards and two touchdowns.
McInnis started 13 games for the Riders this past season and had the best year of his career as he caught 33 passes for 364 yards and two touchdowns.
The native of Pierrefonds, Que. started his collegiate career at Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kan. He transferred to the Red Wolves in 2016 and dressed for 33 career games, making 120 catches for 1,631 yards and 10 touchdowns.
