Better than chocolate chips: Argos re-sign DB Dashaun Amos

The Toronto Argonauts have re-signed veteran defensive back Dashaun Amos.

The 28-year-old tallied a career-high 49 defensive tackles and four interceptions while playing 17 games in 2022. He added two tackles in the playoffs to help Toronto win the 109th Grey Cup.

Amos is entering his second season as an Argonaut after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Calgary Stampeders. He was named a West Division All-Star in 2019, earning an opportunity with the Green Bay Packers during the cancelled 2020 season.

In 49 career regular-season games, the East Carolina product has totalled 128 defensive tackles, nine interceptions, one forced fumble and one touchdown.
