The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have re-signed Canadian fullback Myles Manalo, the team announced on Tuesday. He was scheduled to become a free agent next month.

The 23-year-old recorded two special teams tackles over nine games in 2023. He was converted to the fullback position partway through the season after originally being drafted as a linebacker.

The six-foot-two, 230-pounder was a sixth-round pick in the 2021 CFL Draft. He played three games as a rookie but did not register any statistics.

The native of Burlington, Ont. played 21 games over two seasons at Western University at linebacker and made 70 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, one interception, and two pass breakups. He won a Vanier Cup as a member the Mustangs in 2017.
