The Toronto Argonauts have re-signed American defensive back Robertson Daniel.
The 31-year-old was sidelined by injury for the majority of the 2022 season, playing in just one game and registering no statistics. He was originally Argos via traded to Toronto from Calgary in 2021, playing two games for the organization and recording five defensive tackles, one special teams tackle and one interception.
The six-foot-one, 205-pound defender entered the CFL in 2019 with Calgary, recording 27 defensive tackles and three interceptions in eight games. He previously spent time with the Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers, Washington Football Team and Baltimore Ravens between 2015 and 2019, dressing for one NFL game.
Daniel played collegiately at Brigham Young University. In 25 games for the school, he amassed 110 total tackles, one sack, 23 pass deflections, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.
