Blue Bombers add seven, including former Manitoba Bisons’ DL Cole Adamson

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed seven players, including Canadian defensive lineman Cole Adamson. The moves were announced on Saturday.

Adamson was selected in the fourth round, 38th overall, in the 2022 CFL Draft out of the University of Manitoba. The Winnipeg native returned to school for his final year of U Sports eligibility and recorded 26 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two knockdowns, and one blocked kick.

The graduate of Oak Park High School finished his tenure with the Bisons with 91 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, one interception, and one blocked kick.

Other players signed include American receiver Tavaris Harrison, American receiver Jaivon Heiligh, Global receiver Tim Knuettel, American linebacker DeJuan Cooper, Global defensive back Souleymane Karamoko, Canadian defensive back Cedrick Lavigne. Each player spent time on the practice roster this past season.
