The Calgary Stampeders have put pen to paper with a fitting prospect, signing American receiver Andrew Parchment.

The Fort Lauderdale native began his circuitous college career at Northern Illinois, making one catch for six yards as a freshman. He moved on to Iowa Central Community College as a sophomore, recording 23 catches for 227 yards and two touchdowns to earn an opportunity at the University of Kansas.

Parchment dressed for 20 games over two seasons with the Jayhawks, making 89 catches for 1,028 yards and nine touchdowns. He transferred for a third time ahead of his final college season, landing with the Florida State Seminoles. In 12 games in 2021, the six-foot-two, 191-pound pass catcher made 24 receptions for 313 yards and two touchdowns.

After going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft, Parchment signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent. He was released in early August.
