The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American quarterback Levi Lewis and American running back Shaun Wilson.

Lewis went unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft and signed with the Seattle Seahawks shortly thereafter on a deal that reportedly included $15,000 in guaranteed money. He participated in rookie minicamp with the team but was released on May 20.

The five-foot-ten, 184-pound passer spent five seasons (2017-21) at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. He threw for 9,203 yards, 74 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions with the Ragin’ Cajuns while also rushing 286 times for 1,088 yards and 14 touchdowns.

That native of Baton Rouge, La. was named second-team All-Sun Belt in 2020 and 2021 and completed his college career with a 35-7 record as a starter. He remains Louisiana-Lafayette’s all-time leader in passing touchdowns.

Wilson signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and saw action in five games that season. He rushed six times for 29 yards and added 122 yards on seven kick returns. He has also been a member of the Washington Commanders (2019), Tennessee Titans (2020), and B.C. Lions (2021).

The five-foot-nine, 185-pound ball carrier played four collegiate seasons (2014-17) at Duke University. He carried the ball 475 times for 2,463 yards and 18 touchdowns and added 81 receptions for 725 yards and six touchdowns in 49 games with the Blue Devils. He was also a contributor on special teams, returning 67 kicks for 1,697 yards and two touchdowns.
