The Calgary Stampeders have officially added another name to the long list of players who will be unable to play on Saturday against the B.C. Lions, adding top receiver Malik Henry to the one-game injured list.
Henry was originally listed as questionable due to a quad injury but has been downgraded to out on the team’s official depth chart. He joins a list of stars absent in Week 10 that includes starting middle linebacker Jameer Thurman, right tackle Julian Good-Jones and running back Ka’Deem Carey. Safety Branden Dozier has also been returned to the six-game injured list after being listed as questionable.
The 25-year-old Henry first joined the Stamps in 2021, playing in nine games as the team’s primary returner. He has since blossomed into a top-tier receiver, leading the team with 27 receptions for 515 yards and three touchdowns.
Henry will be replaced by Shawn Bane Jr., who has played in three games this year and recorded two catches for 18 yards.
