The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American receiver Tony Brown and Canadian receiver Tyler Turner.
Brown was in training camp with the team after previously spending time with the Washington Commanders (2020-21) and Cleveland Browns (2020). The six-foot-four, 195-pound native of La Mirada, Calif. played 22 games over two seasons at the University of Colorado (2018-19) and made 83 receptions for 980 yards and five touchdown receptions.
The 24-year-old began his collegiate career at Texas Tech University, where he started as a true freshman and played 24 games over two seasons (2015-16) before transferring to Colorado.
Turner was also in training camp with the Ticats after previously being a member of the B.C. Lions in 2020.
The six-foot-two, 200-pound native of St. Albert, Alta. played 15 games over two seasons (2019-21) at the University of Alberta, registering 43 receptions for 655 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
Turner began his collegiate career at the University of British Columbia where he played 12 games over his two seasons (2015-16) and registered six receptions for 60 yards.
