The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have brought back Canadian linebacker Jarek Richards.
The 26-year-old was in training camp with the Ticats this season, though he was released following its conclusion.
The five-foot-eleven, 200-pound native of Montreal, Que. appeared in five regular season games for the Tiger-Cats in 2021, registering one special teams tackle. He was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2021 CFL Draft after playing three seasons (2017-19) at Saint Mary’s University.
The Ticats are coming off the club’s first win of the season in a 25-23 victory over the Ottawa Redblacks (0-5) and are scheduled to visit the B.C. Lions (3-1) on Thursday night.
