Veteran offensive tackle Colin Kelly has been traded to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, according to a post on his Instagram page.

It was fun while it lasted. Six years in Edmonton has come to an end. Officially on to the black and gold, let’s go @hamiltontigercats.

Kelly started the first two games of the 2022 regular season at right tackle for Edmonton. He was moved to the one-game injured list this week and did not play on Saturday in a 30-23 loss to the Calgary Stampeders.

The Oregon State product missed the entire 2021 season due to a torn pectoral muscle. He started all 18 regular season games at right tackle for Edmonton in 2019.

Kelly originally came to the CFL with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2014 after spending the previous year on injured reserve with the Kansas City Chiefs. He dressed for 26 games over two seasons with the club before signing with the San Francisco 49ers in January 2016.

The native of Longview, Wash. signed with the Elks in May 2017 and dressed for 50 games as a member of the club.
