The Toronto Argonauts have traded American defensive back Jalen Collins and American offensive lineman Martez Ivey to the Edmonton Elks in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2023 CFL Draft.

Collins started five regular season games for the Argos last season, recording 12 defensive tackles, two interceptions, and one forced fumble. He also started the East Final against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and made three tackles.

The 29-year-old was a second-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played with the team for three seasons before a two-year run with the Indianapolis Colts and a brief stint in the XFL.

Ivey signed with Toronto in October 2021 and dressed for one regular season game, starting at left tackle. He also started the East Final at right tackle.

The six-foot-five, 306-pound blocker signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2019 following his tenure at the University of Florida. He signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2021 following a stint with the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL.
