The Ottawa Redblacks released three American players on Wednesday, including receiver Shane Wynn, receiver Henry Litwin, and defensive back Adonis Davis.
Wynn unselected in the 2015 NFL Draft but signed with the Atlanta Falcons before stints with the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He dressed for five games with the Jags in 2016, recording two carries for five yards and one reception for 19 yards.
Litwin was a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy in 2021 as the top player in Division II and was named an AP All-American in 2019 and 2021. He was also a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy and was the only Division II member of the National Football Foundation’s National Scholar-Athlete Class of 2021.
Davis played four seasons at Abilene Christian University from 2016 to 2019. In 41 games played, the five-foot-10, 181-pound cornerback made 146 total tackles, forced four fumbles, recorded seven interceptions, and broke up 26 passes.
