The Ottawa Redblacks have signed defensive lineman Trevon Young.

The 26-year-old Young had 12 tackles for loss to go along with 4.5 sacks in 2017 with the University of Louisville, which led to being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The six-foot-four, 258-pound d-lineman played two games that year, recording a fumble recovery. He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns.

Ottawa also signed defensive back Jomon Dotson.

The 26-year-old Dotson most recently spent time with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats having signed with the club in 2020 and 2021 before being released in July. In his senior year at the University of Nevada in 2018, the five-foot-10, 180-pound Dotson started 11 of 13 games for the Wolf Pack and finished third on the team with 75 tackles.
