The Ottawa Redblacks have signed American linebacker Terrance Smith.
The Decatur, GA native was signed as an undrafted NFL free agent by Kansas City in 2016.
After a stint with the Miami Dolphins in 2019, he was signed by the Arizona Cardinals in 2020. Smith played 34 NFL games recording 38 tackles, two passes defended, one tackle for loss, one quarterback hit, one sack and one interception. He earned over $1.7 million USD while in the NFL.
The six-foot-two, 235-pound Smith started 31 of the 36 games he appeared in for Florida State University, recording 219 tackles, four sacks, three interceptions and one forced fumble. He was part of the Seminoles 2013 BCS National Championship team.
