The Toronto Argonauts have re-signed Canadian defensive lineman Fabion Foote.

The 27-year-old played three games down the stretch for the Argos in 2021 including the Eastern Final after starting the season on the suspended list. He started three games at defensive tackle, though he did not register a statistic.

The four-year CFL veteran joined Toronto via free agency in 2020 from Montreal where he played three seasons (2017-19), tallying 30 defensive tackles and three sacks in 37 games for the Alouettes.

The six-foot-two, 285-pound defender was selected in the second round, twelfth overall, in the 2017 CFL Draft out of the University of McMaster where he captured the Yates Cup in 2014.

Foote was born in Kingston, Jamaica but moved to Canada at the age of ten.
