The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added two star players to the receiving corps for Saturday’s game against the Calgary Stampeders, as per the team’s depth chart.

Shaq Evans will return to the lineup after missing seven games due to a foot injury. The 2019 CFL all-star caught eight passes for 87 yards in two wins to start the year but the team has gone just 3-4 in his absence. He will start at boundary wide receiver with Canadian rookie Kian Schaffer-Baker moving to field-side wide receiver.

Duke Williams was recently signed to provide the Riders with an additional weapon in the receiving corps following a two-year stint with the Buffalo Bills. We will start at boundary slotback with Ricardo Louis being added to the one-game injured list.

The former all-star recently declared himself the best deep threat in the CFL during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, making 134 receptions for 2,294 yards and 15 touchdowns with Edmonton prior to departing for the NFL.

Head coach Craig Dickenson expressed concern that defensive end A.C. Leonard would be unable to play due to a knee injury, but he is listed as a starter.

Rookie defensive back A.J. Hendy is listed as the starter at strong-side linebacker, replacing national Godfrey Onyeka who was added to the six-game injured list. The former second-round CFL draft pick had started the past five games, making 24 tackles.

The Riders will visit the Stampeders at McMahon Stadium on Saturday with kickoff slated for 9:45 p.m. ET.
