The Toronto Argonauts have announced they will be without Eric Rogers when they play the Montreal Alouettes on Friday night.

Rogers was a late scratch due to a hamstring injury. He was a full participant in practice on Monday but was limited on Tuesday and did not participate on Wednesday.

The six-foot-three, 215-pound receiver will be replaced by Damion Jeanpiere, who was promoted from the practice roster. The CFL rookie has dressed for one game previously this season, recording one catch for eight yards.

Rogers has started all six of Toronto’s games this year, making 25 receptions for 346 yards and three touchdowns. He leads the Argos in touchdown receptions, though he trails Ricky Collins Jr. in catches and receiving yards.

The Argos host the Als on Friday night with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. ET.
