The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have listed star Canadian running back Sean Thomas-Erlington as a game-time decision for Wednesday’s game in Ottawa.
The 29-year-old was a full participant in practice on Monday but is currently listed third on the team’s depth chart behind Jackson Bennett and Maleek Irons.
Thomas-Erlington has started the first five games of the season for the Ticats but was scratched against Calgary in Week 7. He has recorded 34 carries for 176 yards and two touchdowns in five games this season along with 14 receptions for 61 yards.
Bennett and Irons were somewhat effective in Thomas-Erlington’s absence, rushing a combined 12 times for 42 yards in a 23-17 victory over the Stampeders.
Thomas-Erlington made a brief but stellar impact in 2019 when he rushed for 224 yards and caught 11 passes for 193 yards in just four starts.
The Redblacks (1-4) host the Ticats (3-3) on Wednesday night at TD Place with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. ET.
