The Calgary Stampeders are currently without star receiver Kamar Jorden, who did not return following a first half injury against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Jorden was targeted five times in the opening quarter, making two receptions for 23 yards. He missed the second quarter with an undisclosed injury.

The 32-year-old receiver currently leads the CFL with 38 receptions for 535 yards and three touchdowns. He had the best game of the year in Calgary’s Week 6 victory over the Edmonton Elks in which he made 12 catches for 159 yards and one score.

Canadian slotback Colton Hunchak appears to have taken on a larger role in the offence with Jorden on the sideline, recording four receptions for 36 yards in the opening half.

The Ticats currently lead the Stamps by a score of 6-3 at halftime.

Update: Jorden did not return to the game with what Calgary identified as a lower-body injury.
