Tiger-Cats announce final cuts, set practice roster

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have locked in the roster they feel best gives them a shot at a home Grey Cup victory, releasing 12 players ahead of Friday’s cutdown deadline.

Among the notable cuts are former NFL running back Byron Marshall, XFL receiving leader Cam Phillips and 2021 fourth-round CFL Draft pick Jarek Richards.

17 players were also added to the practice squad.
