The Edmonton Elks have announced their final training camp cuts and 2021 practice roster, making official major roster moves first reported by 3DownNation insider Justin Dunk.
Among those players leaving the organization are the team’s top rookie in 2019 in linebacker Vontae Diggs, veteran pass rusher Shawn Lemon and recently signed offensive tackle Thaddeus Coleman.
A total of 16 players were released ahead of Friday’s CFL roster deadline of 8:00 p.m. MT. An additional 17 players were moved to the practice roster, with one player moved to the suspended list.
