Jordan Williams-Lambert is not participating in training camp with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Wednesday.

Here’s an update from CTV Regina‘s Claire Hanna.

Receiver Jordan Williams-Lambert is at training camp on Day 5 but with a cast/tensor bandage on his right arm/hand. Injured himself catching a ball in the final 5 minutes of practice on Tuesday. No update yet on his status but he’s been on the sidelines today.

Williams-Lambert had a breakout season with the Riders in 2018 when he caught 62 passes for 764 yards and four touchdowns. He parlayed that into a contract with the Chicago Bears but he was released at the end of training camp in August 2019.

The six-foot-three, 225-pound target rejoined the Riders in September 2019 but dressed for only three games down the stretch, making five catches for 57 yards. He is pencilled-in as a starter for Saskatchewan’s receiving corps in 2021.
