The Buffalo Bills have signed Canadian defensive lineman Eli Ankou to a one-year contract for the 2021 season.
The 27-year-old Ankou has been in the NFL since 2017 when he joined the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA.
He has spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons in his career.
The six-foot-three, 325-pound Ottawa native has appeared in 27 NFL games, recording 31 total tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and 1.5 sacks.
Ankou has earned over $2.4 million in his career to date.
