B.C. Lions sign Mount Union University quarterback D’Angelo Fulford

The BC Lions have signed quarterback D’Angelo Fulford.

The six-foot-two, 210-pound Fulford played four years at Mount Union University where he led the Purple Raiders to a NCAA Division III National Championship in 2017.

As a senior in 2019, he became just the second player in school history to win the Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Back of the Year award. That was after the Miramar, Fla. native threw for 3,118 yards with 43 touchdowns versus two interceptions in 12 games.

In 45 total appearances at Mount Union, Fulford completed 67.3 percent of his passes for 9,482 yards with 134 touchdowns against 13 interceptions. He also rushed 315 times for 1,333 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Fulford ran a 4.82 forty-yard hand-time and posted a 32-inch vertical at his pro day. He went unselected in the 2020 NFL Draft.
