Canadian running back Kyle Borsa recorded a blazing forty-yard dash at the University of Regina pro day on Friday.

The six-foot, 200-pound ball carrier ran a laser-timed 4.38 forty-yard dash, which is elite for a prospect on either side of the border.

Borsa demonstrated not only elite straight-line speed but also impressive quickness with a 6.95 three-cone and 4.19 shuttle. Strength and explosiveness won’t be an issue either — he recorded 22 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, a ten-foot, three-inch broad jump and a 35-inch vertical leap.

The Regina native played two seasons with the Rams and recorded 122 carries for 683 yards and six touchdowns along with 21 receptions for 289 yards and one score. He was also impactful on special teams, returning 46 punts for 345 yards and 46 kickoffs for 878 yards.

Borsa is one of 13 players in the history of the Regina Rams to record over 2,000 all-purpose yards, which he accomplished in just 16 career games.

The 2021 CFL Draft is expected to take place in the first week on May.
