The Ottawa Redblacks have signed American offensive lineman Juwann Bushell-Beatty.

The six-foot-five, 330-pound offensive tackle signed with the Washington Football Team as an undrafted NFL free agent but he was waived shortly afterwards. The Dallas Cowboys signed Bushell-Beatty during training camp in 2019, but he did not make the 53-man roster prior to the start of the regular season.

In 2020, Bushell-Beatty was drafted by the St. Louis Battlehawks and later traded to the Houston Renegades where he played alongside current Carolina Panthers quarterback P.J. Walker in the XFL. The Panthers signed him after that season was cut short, although he was waived in late July and had been a free agent since.

In the NCAA, Bushell-Beatty was a two-year starter for the University of Wolverines, becoming an All-Big Ten honourable mention in 2018. He played in 33 games with 18 starts, 17 at right tackle and one at left tackle.
