The Ottawa Redblacks have re-signed strong-side linebacker Don Unamba, according to Postmedia reporter Tim Baines. He was set to become a free agent on February 9.

The six-foot-one, 200-pound defender recorded 46 total tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception with Edmonton in 2019. He signed with Ottawa in February 2020 but the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Southern Arkansas product was named a CFL all-star in 2018 while a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The five-year veteran has 192 career tackles, eleven sacks, eight forced fumbles, six interceptions, and two touchdowns.
