A Winnipeg Blue Bombers championship ring from 1990 is for sale on eBay via Red River Pawn. The 10K gold ring is for sale as well as a pendant, which is available for $1,999 USD.
According to the photos, the ring was originally given to Blue Bombers’ receiver Eric Streater. He is now 56 years of age.
The North Carolina product played three games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1987 before joining the B.C. Lions in 1988. He caught 91 passes for 1,328 yards and seven touchdowns over two seasons on the west coast before signing in Winnipeg.
Streater played three seasons with the Blue Bombers (1990-1992) during which he recorded 125 receptions for 1,864 yards and 20 scores. He helped the team defeat Edmonton by a score of 50-11 in the 1990 Grey Cup, which until 2019 was Winnipeg’s most recent Grey Cup victory.
