My boy John Hodge took all the points he could get and it still didn’t result in anything close to a cover in Week 14 when gang green was gang tackled by the Seahawks 40-3. The sorry excuse for a professional football team, which I’d wager most CFL teams could handle, dropped to 0-13.
Hodge even put the jinx on former three-down kicker Sergio Castillo who had been one of very few positives for the Jets this season. He missed field goals from 37, 41 and 43 yards after making his first attempt from 45. Castillo was sent down to the practice squad following the game to work out the kinks and Hodge needs to do the same after a Jets-like 4-12 week against the spread.
