N’Keal Harry took a hit from defensive back Tarvarius Moore on the final play of the first quarter. He left the field under his own power but looked shaky, showing signs of a possible concussion.

The Toronto native received medical attention on the sideline before departing for the locker room. The Patriots have since announced that Harry will not return due to a head injury.

The 2019 first-round pick out of Arizona State missed nine games as a rookie due to an ankle injury. He made 12 receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns in seven games, making five starts.

Harry’s numbers have improved this season, connecting with Cam Newton 19 times for 172 yards and a score.

The Patriots trail the 49ers 30-6 midway through the third quarter.
