A former CFL pass catcher made quite the impact with the Washington Football Team on Sunday.

Dontrelle Inman caught three passes for 38 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns. It was the first multi-score game of his NFL career.

Inman has found consistent NFL work since two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts (2012-2013), suiting up with the Chargers (2014-2017, 2019), Bears (2017), Colts (2018, 2019), and Washington (2020). The University of Virginia product has posted 177 receptions for 2,358 yards and 13 touchdowns in the NFL.

Sunday’s game didn’t go Washington’s way, dropping the team to 1-2. Second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins went 21-of-37 passing for 224 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Cleveland capitalized on all three picks, converting each into an offensive touchdown.

Washington will play host to the Baltimore Ravens (2-0) next Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
